Another core belief of The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR) is to help introduce criminal justice, social science, and other interested students, both undergraduates and graduates, to the world of criminal justice research. Unlike other organizations, JCJR does not charge membership fees for access to JCJR research publications.
One method of student outreach by JCJR is to provide free membership to college and university student organizations and student societies, and students themselves if they do not belong to such a group. As it is very important for students to familiarize themselves with current research in their field, and membership to a scholarly organization is always a "plus", The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR) is committed to reaching out to the next generation of scholars and practitioners in several ways:
Police Officer Timothy G. Nolan, M.S., Police Officer, Freeport Police Department, New York, United States.Join JCJR as a Student Member
For students interested in joining The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR), please send an email to students@icjrc.org and be sure to provide the following information:
Please remember that membership to JCJR is entirely free of charge. Unlike other organizations, JCJR does not charge "discounted" student membership fees for access to JCJR publications. As membership to scholarly organizations can certainly benefit students, JCJR is proud to offer this for free.
All student members will be listed on this webpage and will be notified, via email, when new research is published online in JCJR.
For any other questions regarding student membership, please contact students@icjrc.org

Additionally, winning papers will be published on this Student Outreach webpage. Authors of the winning papers may wish to submit their manuscripts for official peer-review for publication consideration in The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR). Authors wishing to do so must contact the Editor-in-Chief for official manuscript submission guidelines.
The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR) wishes all participating students the best of luck!
