What is ICJRC?

The Institute for Criminal Justice Reearch & Consulting (ICJRC) is a not-for-profit scientific research and educational organization.  As such, ICJRC performs its duties on behalf of preserving the science of criminal justice.  While most consultancies and evaluating organizations, and individuals, are “for-profit” organizations who focus on profit making, ICJRC is a not-for-profit institution.  That is, ICJRC’s focus is strictly on research and consulting as a science, rather than a "job".  Any profit made by ICJRC is used to maintain the costs associated with running the company and The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR).

The Founding Director of The Institute for Criminal Justice Research & Consulting (ICJRC) and the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Criminal Justice Research (JCJR) is Criminologist, Anthony L. Sciarabba.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Molloy College, New York where he also served as the Criminal Justice Department's first full-time Research Assistant for 2 years. 
He has published research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals including the Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture and Professional Issues in Criminal Justice.  He has authored and co-authored numerous book chapters on many diverse topics including legal systems of the world, policing, and criminal justice policy development. 
His field research activities include evaluating neighborhood-level crime reduction policies for the United States Department of Justice.  He holds active memberships in numerous criminal justice and criminological organizations and societies and regularly attends both national and international conferences and meetings.  Additionally, he is a Lifetime Member of The National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma.
His research interests include research methodology, violence and sexual victimization, and criminal justice policy.
 

THE BASICS OF ICJRC

The Institute for Criminal Justice Research & Consulting (ICJRC) is primarily concerned with applying the scientific method in its consultancy duties in order to further criminal justice as a science.

Additionally, ICJRC is proud to use its advanced research capabilities to perform any requested criminal justice and sociological research.  ICJRC utilizes its global resources in order to provide the highest level of evaluations, assessments, consultations, and research of all types to its clients
